Working with groups and individuals in the community, especially young adults,
to improve growth and mental health!

Although, I am uniquely positioned to work with a variety of patients, I thrive at and love working with adolescents and young adults. I work with my clients to develop emotional awareness and identification; improve communication and relationships with loved ones; identify needs in life that help manage anxiety, school refusal, substance abuse, oppositional behaviours, eating disorders, mood disorders, adjustment issues, anger, depression, and stress; to pursue meaningful activity; and to maintain physical & emotional health!

Prior to working as a private practitioner, I looked for opportunities to gain experience in variety of areas within the mental health field, which would advance me as a therapist and give me the best tools to achieve positive results. I have experience working in supportive housing, an eating disorder outpatient facility, a substance abuse outpatient facility, as well as in home therapy services for youth and families. I firmly believe that each and every program & experience in my career prepared me to provide exceptional service to my community.

My educational background includes a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Scranton.

In my free time I love to spent time with my nieces, whom I absolutely adore! They keep me on my toes, as I look for ways to be a positive role model, that they will one day look to emulate.
