Chana Lampner, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University, and I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in art therapy at Edinboro University. I am passionate about assisting individuals to overcome challenges in their lives and resolve trauma and difficult experiences which are holding them back from accomplishing their goals and leading happy and fulfilling lives.
I employ a variety of therapeutic interventions such as art therapy and psychodynamic therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help individuals reach a place of healing and growth and achieve balance and peace within themselves and in relationships with others. Art therapy is one of my passions as it combines the use of art media and the creative process in a therapeutic setting to promote the treatment process.
I aspire to assist individuals in accessing and utilizing their unique strengths and characteristics to enhance their lives and achieve their personal goals. I believe that reaching out for help is a sign of courage and strength and I possess great admiration for those who are seeking to improve their emotional health and wellbeing. I firmly believe that each individual is the expert in their own lives and that my role is to guide them towards reaching their potential and living the lives that they desire to lead.
