Does it sometimes feel like the color has been drained from your world? Or an unexpected interruption in your life has left you feeling shattered and broken. Using a combination of supportive psychotherapy and Art Therapy, we can explore the metaphors that emerge in a safe and non-judgmental environment so you can begin to feel whole again and become the beautiful mosaic of a person that you were meant to be.
My clients are empowered to find their own solutions by drawing on personal strengths and creativity as they work toward achieving their goals, and often feel more motivated and hopeful for the future. Drawing on the spirit of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), my clients learn how to challenge irrational beliefs and replace negative self-talk with positive thinking.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Moore College of Art and Design, I completed my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including: partial care day programs, a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, and in outpatient practice.
My clients would describe me as validating, empathetic, and genuine. I am particularly passionate about working with adults and adolescents who struggle with symptoms of depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, and PTSD. Inside of everyone is a masterpiece waiting to be unveiled!
