Therapy is about relationships.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I view people as deeply interconnected with their environments. Our experiences and attachments shape who we are across the lifespan—each of us formed through hundreds of relationships. In these relationships, we are discovered, defined, and inevitably, challenged.
Often, people come to therapy when those challenges become overwhelming—when relationships become sources of suffering and we lose sight of ourselves and our purpose. The therapeutic relationship offers a unique opportunity to explore that suffering in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I do not impose my worldview or agenda; instead, my goal is to help you uncover what drives you forward, what holds you back, and how to nurture the former while gently letting go of the latter.
My approach is grounded in relational psychodynamic therapy, which means we will collaboratively explore your emotional patterns, relationships, and psychological defenses. We’ll work to understand how these patterns originated and how they continue to impact your life. With warmth, patience, and care, we will begin to heal and integrate those early wounds—sometimes using EMDR to support that process, other times simply through the strength of the therapeutic relationship itself.
I draw from a wide range of influences—philosophy, narrative therapy, mind-body attunement, and others—based on what resonates most with you.
I work with adults and teens (ages 13+) and have extensive experience supporting people navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, substance use, and life transitions. I am staunchly queer-affirming and strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome.
Whether you're adjusting to a major life change or have long felt that something is missing, I will meet you where you are—and we’ll work together to find a new path forward.
